At the last Valley Womens Network meeting I won a draw from Focal Point Redesigns & Home Staging from Dianne Boutilier. Dianne came over a couple of days ago together we set about rearranging some of my clutter, discussing new paint colour (biscotti),spray painting some lamps & discussing the reason why I had SO many pictures up on my walls & why that's not a good idea. I really appreciated her insight and ideas. I just wish I had written them down. I felt Dianne was knowledgable & well versed in her industry. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is thinking of moving or just wanting fresh ideas for their homes. Thanks Dianne for a great afternoon Lois D

Dianne came in and not only decluttered my house before I put it up for sale but also staged it so it looks fabulous and she boxed everything up too so half my packing is done!!
I could NEVER have done this with my own belongings -- I don't think anyone can with their own "stuff" but she doesn't have an attachment to any of my things and can see it as a prospective buyer would.
She was able to rearrange some of the rooms in a way I would never have thought of (nor had tried obviously) and it looks fantastic plus I enjoy living with "less" now.
It is so great to come home! I feel so relieved after my hectic days I sometimes just walk room by room and can't believe I really live here. And I'm not kidding--- I thought I had my place decorated pretty good, but she decluttered things that at first seemed too sparse, and now as I say, it is wonderful to come home to. I do not hesitate to recommend her to everyone and I do! She is professional and did more than she said she would.
In the end, I wish I wasn't moving---

As a Real Estate Appraiser for 13 years, I see a lot of renovations, upgrades, and transformations. I even give suggestions on what would derive the best value for a particular renovation, but when I came into our home, after the Redesign was done it had transformed , and using my own stuff at that, I was taken back!!. I had thought that my home wasn’t too bad, actually, and sure a bit cluttered, but woo. From the REDESIGN EVENT, the original inept layout of our home, became much more appealing.
I realized that we DID have so much clutter and it was so unorganized, but our shame soon subsided when this more open and uncluttered style of house emerged before our eyes. The interior has been made into more distinct areas with better functionality and has given our home that much needed warmer feeling. They simply let the home’s features like the river rock fireplace, the distressed fir floors, the soft lighting, and the antique furniture pieces -- speak for themselves.
Redesigning has most definitely impressed upon me and my wife that if we were selling this home or needing a more functional, more stress free home then we would most certainly use the services of a stager to help us.
Thank you so much for freeing our minds from the clutter.

Okay, all I can say is Wow oh wow. I was having issues with my decorating, call it the after winter dolldrums, (you know bored with your furniture, knick knacks ets.) So I had Dianne from Focal Point Redesigns & Homestaging come into my home and do a service for me. Well to come home and see how my home looked now with a professional flair added to the decorating was intoxicating. I absolutely love how she redesigned and staged my kitchen and family room. Now I don't want to leave my home and if I have to I am excited to come back to it. Thank you again so much Dianne. Love it.
